The village of Casillas de Martos is situated by the Viboras Reservoir and Rio Viboras in a very scenic area.
There are 2-3 tapas bars, restaurant, doctors, chemist, 2 shops and bakery.
The local towns of Alcaudete and Martos are approximately 12 km away.
This is a mountainous area with good cycling & walking along tracks through the olive groves up onto the hills and mountains around. There is good fishing in the river and reservoir.
The 160km Via Verde cycle path is 5km away.
This area of Spain is quite historical with numerous historic cities within easy travelling distance, not least Cordoba, Granada, Jaen.
Main attractions are Alhambra & Generalife and Mezquita Mayor. There are numerous fiestas throughout the year.
There is also the magnificent village of Zuheros approximately 30km away.
